Placement Cell
The Placement Cell of P.G.D.A.V. College serves as an interface between the students and the corporate world. Apart from bringing various companies to the campus, the placement cell also organizes talks, study abroad seminars, internship opportunities and workshops for the collective student body.
In doing so, we ensure that we fulfil our primary focus of providing a helping hand to students in their initial step into the world of work, thereby creating a legacy. President, The Placement CellIt is a privilege and a great responsibility to serve as the President of The Placement Cell, P.G.D.A.V. College, for the academic session 2026–27.
Having been a part of the Placement Cell and witnessed its work closely, stepping into this role feels particularly meaningful. I have seen the effort that goes into creating opportunities, building relationships with recruiters, and supporting students as they take their first steps into the professional world. As I take on this responsibility, my aim is to build upon the foundation laid by the teams before us while taking the Cell towards greater reach, stronger industry engagement, and more meaningful opportunities.
The professional world is evolving rapidly, and placements today are about more than simply bringing companies to campus. They are about connecting students with opportunities that align with their aspirations and preparing them to make the most of those opportunities. This year, we aim to expand our corporate outreach across sectors while placing equal emphasis on industry exposure, career guidance, and skill development.
For us, success will not be measured only in numbers, but also in the impact we create, the student who discovers a new career path, the opportunity that becomes a stepping stone towards a larger dream, and the confidence a student gains to take on the professional world.
None of this would be possible without the dedication of my team, the guidance of our faculty mentors, support of our seniors and the trust and aspirations of our student community.
