About The Company: DU Connect is a centralized platform that caters to different student problems ranging from accommodation, merchandise, Education, Books & notes, and other utilities. We are building this platform along with our community (a social learning space) which would consequently serve as consumers for our offerings.

Profiles Offered:

Stipend: 
1. Community Leader (Whatsapp and Discord): INR 5,000 per month (Commission Based)
2. Product Manager (Accommodation): INR 20,000 per month (Commission Based)
3. Product Manager (Merchandise and Upskilling & Mentorship): INR 15,000 per month (Commission Based)

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Community leader (Both Whatsapp and Discord)
• Manage and host members by engaging them and addressing their concerns.
• Explain the product vision, product roadmap, and product positioning.
• Gather members’ feedback to further improve the product.
• Collaborates with internal teams to work on the requirements and posts.
• Bring up content and ideas for the growth and expansion of the community.

2. Product Manager (Accommodation)
• Generating leads for potential clients.
• Maintaining a database of different PGs and hostels.
• Pitching and onboarding PG and Hostel owners.
• Marketing the accommodation data provided by us.

3.  Product Manager (Merchandise)
• Overseeing vendor communication, sampling, and sample approval. 
• Analysing product performance & sell-through tracking on a monthly/seasonal basis.
• Forecasting, price setting, and negotiating quantities with buyers, suppliers, and distributors.
• Coordinating with Marketing teams to recommend and unveil new products to the field.
• Directing and identifying retail and wholesale merchandise price points.
• Leading cost targets and pricing structures with recommendations to vendors/team

4. Product Manager (Upskilling and Mentorship)
• Maintaining a database of organizations and independent speakers for mentorship programs.
• Coordinates with respective teams regarding product launch.
• Pitching and onboarding mentors of different backgrounds for collaboration.
• Creates and presents reports on findings, improvements, statuses, and risk management.

Eligibility: 2nd Year (Batch 2023) and 3rd Year (Batch 2022) Students from all the courses.

Duration: 4 Months (Extendable)
